Sixteen-year-old violinist JEREMY STEIN CUSHMAN made his solo orchestra debut at the age of 8 … and in the second half of his life has performed at the White House, the United Nations, Madison Square Garden and Lincoln Center’s Avery Fisher Hall. On Sunday, he’ll open the 41st Artists Ascending concert series at Baron Hirsch, with a diverse program ranging from a Broadway medley to short works by Vivaldi, Kreisler, Massenet and Mozart. He’ll be accompanied by the University of Memphis Chamber Orchestra under Conductor Dr. Pu-Qu Jiang as well as pianist Dr. Karen M. Beluso.
